Tournament Results

Kissimmee Wolfpack 3rd grade champions

Kissimmee Wolfpack 3rd grade is a really well coached team that played some great basketball all weekend. These young players had good ball movement, ball handling, and finished well around the rim. I expect this team to win a lot of tournaments this year.

Elite Heat 8th grade champions

Elite lost there first game but after that they were locked in and played some great basketball all weekend. This group thrives off defense, hustle, and attacking the basket. This team will play in the Addidas circuit this year and I expect them to do well.

Florida Elite Southwest

Florida Elite Southwest took home the 17 and under US Amateur Basketball National Championship with their 70-52 win over the Gainesville Stampede.

Florida Elite Southwest was led by Jovan Stulic, who scored 19 points in the title game. Cole Jacobson added 14 points, moving himself as a valuable threat on the wing as a there-point shooter. Trevor Tracy scored 12 points while Darlin Davis and Bishop Thomas each scored nine points.

For Gainesville Stampede, Kensha Williams led the way with 13 points while Israel Wilcox scored 11 points and Quintin Williams added nine.

GPI

The 10th grade division of the US Amateur Basketball National Championships was deep and full of talented teams. So getting to the title game was half the battle.

The top two teams who made it to the big stage made sure the title game was as good as you would expect it to be.

The GPI All-Stars beat the Atlanta Playmakers 59-53 in a terrific battle.

Deshaun Osborne scored a game high 19 points in the win. Shakur Poteet scores 17 points and hit four three-pointers, capping off a great week of work.

Hollywood Stars

The Hollywood Stars beat Nike Team Florida 62-52 to win the 8th Grade US Amateur Basketball National Championship.

Both teams had a tremendous week in Gainesville and it was fitting they met each other in the title game.

The Hollywood Stars were led by Brayden Baker, who scored a team high 14 points. Khristian Clark scored 13 points. Makaleb McBride scored 12 points. Tyler Griffin scored 11 points. Alajon Williams scored nine points.

Wellington Wolves

The Wellington Wolves and NSE teams impressed anyone that watched them over the weekend at the US Amateur Basketball National Championships. So when the two powers locked horns in the title game of the 7th grade division, it didn’t come as a big surprise that the match-up was as good as you’d hope it would be.

The two teams traded buckets all game long and the Wellington Wolves scored one more than NSE to claim the title.

GCFDS 6th grade champions

Louisiana Powerhouse is an elite organization with elite players at all five positions. This program won all there games by 20 or more points and i expect this group to win national tournaments all weekend.

TRU Elite had an impressive weekend and they had to beat some very good teams to win the championship. They played a very good SA Warriors team to win. They some played hard nose defense and moved the ball well all game which led to some big shots down the strech which won the game.

Coming into this 13U championship game the Georgia Impact and the Georgia King’s both have been playing good basketball.

The Kings had a very difficult road to the chip beating out a good NSE team followed by a very good Georgia State Warriors squad. However, this Georgia Impact Team was too much for them and everyone else they faced this weekend.

Roswell Bombers beat the Georgia Jayhawks 63-55 to win the 12 and under division of the Georgia Cup Finals tournament on Sunday.
