The MS Splash didn’t have much trouble in pool play, but the Jackson Cougars created problems for them.  They kept the game close and the MS Splash won by 8.  This is significant because the Splash defeated every other team by 15 or more.  On the other side, the Jackson Cougars bounced back from the loss at the hands of the MS Splash and finished off pool play 2-1.  Both teams used their strong pool play momentum to propel them through bracket play on to the championship.  The rematch between the Splash and the Cougars was even better the second time around.  After a hard fought game the Splash came out on top with a final score of 29-26.

This kid from the Mississippi Splash is a nightmare on the court. I'm going to say he is the best 6th grader in the state. He has great height, great ball handling, lockdown defense, and is probably the must clutch kid I ever saw play🏀 He put up plenty of points as well as assists. He kept his teammates involved while having monster games. Every time his team needed a bucket he delivered. This young man can go start at any middle school in the state right now🏀 This young man has range and will pull from curry range. Rebounds,  blocked shots,  there is nothing this kid can't do. He is going to shred teams all summer🏀 This young man will be competing in our state championship and super regionals if you want to compete against the best🏀🏀

This young man from the Jackson Cougars is probably the best sixth grader in the state of Mississippi🏀 His ball control along with his scoring abilities and height makes this kid unstoppable 🔥 He has a very high basketball iq and has vision 👀 like I never seen from a young player. He scores from all over the court and he was shredding defenses all weekend. This young man has a bright future and he is going to go on a tear this travel season. This young man will be at our State Championship and our Super regional if your looking to compete against a elite program. I know he will be bringing plenty of ankles back to Jackson  at our next two Biloxi events 🏀🏀

The MS Youngstarz played some really good basketball this weekend. After going undefeated in pool play I thought they would walk into the championship. #22 led this teams to some impressive wins and he has very good foot work when approaching the goal. He played with confidence all weekend and got plenty of buckets🏀🏀
