Tournament Results

The Kings were the champions of the silver bracket in 9th grade at Slamfest. After having a tough go in pool play, the Kings looked to bounce back in bracket play with their first game against the Condors. They defeated the Condors 52-47 to move into the championship game. They were matched up against the South Florida Spartans to decide the champion. They defeated the Spartans 53-30.

Ball4Lyfe United were crowned champions of the 4th grade gold division at Slamfest. They started the weekend off with lopsided victory over Stampede, 71-11. That was followed up by another huge over SOH Elite, 47-15. They were then defeated by GSD Elite 40-36. In the semis of bracket play they defeated Team Edition 40-35 to move onto the finals and avenge their earlier loss to GSD Elite. And that is actually what they did as they defeated GSD Elite 40-31 to win the title.

The Treasure Coast Titans came out victorious in the 9th grade division at Slamfest. They began pool play with a victory over Magic City Black 51-24. They followed it up with a blow out win over the Kings 67-23. In bracket play they dominated Rock United 63-30 to move on to face the South Florida Disciples. They posted another huge win by a score 57-22. This put them in the championship game against Let it Fly. They defeated Let it Fly 50-45 to win the championship.

Congratulations to the Hollywood Eagles on winning the 8th grade girls division of Slamfest. They opened up the tournament with a heartbreaking loss against the Lady Jaguars of South Florida 48-49. The got back to their winning ways with a 50-39 victory over G Nation. They closed out pool play against the Riviera Beach Chargers, winning that one 50-17. This set them up for a rematch against the Lady Jaguars of South Florida. They got their revenge when it mattered most, winning the championship by a score of 52-42.

The South Florida Sonics won the silver bracket championship in the 11th grade division at Slamfest. After having a tough time in pool play, the Sonics got to showcase their talents in the silver bracket. They started it off with a 68-51 victory over the Condors to move into the championship against EBA. They handled business by defeating EBA 70-53 to win the title.

The Wellington Wolves were the champs of the 7th grade division at Slamfest. They started things off with a 61-47 win over the Riviera Beach Chargers. They capped off pool play with a 61-30 win over Stampede. This put them into bracket play where they started off against the Jupiter Jaguars. The Wolves were all business as they defeated the Jaguars 67-22 to move into the championship against Miami Impact. Miami Impact gave the Wolves a run for their money but Wellington closed it out 45-41 to win the championship.

Both teams had a rough pool play. They met for the championship and the Bay City Ballers were crowned champion with a final score of 66-50.

The girls of the Wellington Wolves were the champs of Slamfest. They opened up the tournament playing up a grade against Miami Lady Ballers. They showed that they can play on all levels as they defeated Miami Lady Ballers 27-22. They then defeated the Hollywood Eagles 49-21 to advance straight to the championship game. They faced the Hollywood Eagles again and continued their domination by defeating the Eagles by a score of 39-12.

The Broward Sharks were the silver bracket champs in the 10th grade division at Slamfest. After going 1-1 with a win over Blue Storm 43-41, they moved into the silver bracket. They started it off with a 62-52 win over the Wellington Wolves. In the championship game they took care of business against Stampede, 77-61.

SOH Elite took home the championship in the 5th grade division at Slamfest. They started the weekend off with a 45-32 victory over Team Edition. That was followed up by a 1 point win over the Jupiter Jaguars, 40-39, to go undefeated in pool play. They began bracket play in the semis with a 44-39 win over Stampede to move into the championship against Coral Springs Explosion. The won in dominating fashion by a score of 56-30.
