Tournament Results

The Jupiter Jaguars cruised to the 7th grade championship of the SFE Tip Off.  They went perfect in pool play with wins over Coral Springs Explosion 73-25, Triple Threat Elite 58-31, Plantation Power 50-44.  In the championship game they had another matchup with Triple Threat Elite.  This game went the same as before as the Jaguars completed their championship run by winning by a score of 50-32. 

South Florida Elite won the 6th grade Division 2 championship of the SFE Tip Off.  After struggling in pool play, they had a match up with Triple Threat Elite to decide the Division 2 championship.  SFE squeaked by in the championship by a score of 35-34.  

Congratulations to the 7th Grade South Florida Elite team on winning the 8th Grade division of the SFE Tip Off.  En route to their championship, they defeated Ball4lyfe 75-69 and Triple Threat Elite 86-40 in pool play.  In bracket play they defeated Rock United 56-44 to reach the championship.  They squared off against the Wellington Wolves for the title.  SFE came out on top 55-42 to take home the title.  

Congratulations to the Treasure Coast Titans on winning the 6th division of the SFE Tip Off.  They went undefeated in pool play defeating South Florida Elite 67-17 and Beach City 67-32.  In the semi finals of bracket play they matched up against the Wellington Wolves and won by a score of 62-27.  In the championship game they faced off against FC Press.  This game went the same as all of their other games went, as they handled FC Press by a score of 60-33.

The Lakeland Fire suffered a devastating 47-34 loss at the hands of TNBA South in their first game of pool play.  Both teams blew through the remaining teams all the way up until their rematch in the championship game.  This time was different for the Lakeland Fire.  They defeated TNBA 64-44.

Both Blue Storm and Skills Center Elite dominated in pool play and it carried over to bracket play as well.   When the two met in the championship game, Skills Center Elite was victorious with a final score of 57-48.

MS Splash

The MS Splash didn’t have much trouble in pool play, but the Jackson Cougars created problems for them.  They kept the game close and the MS Splash won by 8.  This is significant because the Splash defeated every other team by 15 or more.  On the other side, the Jackson Cougars bounced back from the loss at the hands of the MS Splash and finished off pool play 2-1.  Both teams used their strong pool play momentum to propel them through bracket play on to the ch

CBF ran away with the title in the 6th grade division at Slamfest.  In pool play they went 3-0 with wins over Beach City 55-2, PGD 59-14, and Wellington Wolves 58-29.  They had a rematch against the Wellington Wolves in the championship where they defeated the Wolves 49-22.

Congratulations to the Wellington Wolves on winning the girls 5th grade division of Slamfest.  En route to winning the championship, they defeated SK Elite 54-24 and the Hollywood Eagles 46-26 in pool play.  Their 2-0 record put them directly in the championship game where they were them matched up against the Hollywood Eagles.  They defeated the Eagles yet again by a score of 34-17.

Both Bay Area Hoops (Red) and National Powerhouse struggled in pool play but they each had successful DII bracket play.  The two met in the championship game and Bay Area Hoops defeated National Powerhouse with a final score of 66-42.
