Kings

Riding Alex Springs 31 points in the championship game the Florida Kings emerged victorious over Liberty Edge to capture the 8th grade crown.  Springs led all scores in the 8th grade division averaging 16.25 points a game and earned All Tournament honors. Max Fontaine played a complete game adding 11 points in the championship game and earned Most Valuable Player.  Josiah Cotto added 34 points this weekend and All tournament winner Janiel De Los Santos had 39 points.  Balance is a way to look at the completeness of a team and every member of the Kings Contributed in the scoring column. Liberty Edge averaged over 62 points a game to reach the Championship game. Liberty had several players average double digits over the weekend. Liberty also bolstered fierce defense this weekend allowing just over 40 points a game.  Manatee PAL came into the weekend missing players but Detmer Steffensen stepped up and earned all tournament honorable mention. Florida Blaze-Williams had scoring contributions from everyone on the team none more than All tournament Jake Schuh.  Ethan Isom of Tri City Ballers dropped 27 in a game and average double digits to earn a spot on the All tournament team. Florida Blaze-Black’s Davion Pugh put 51 points up this weekend and earned All tournament honors.
