Congratulations to the 5th grade boys from the Wellington Wolves for winning the MLK Slamfest.  After going 2-1 in pool play they earned themselves a spot in the championship game and a rematch against Team Knight.  They were defeated by Team Knight in pool play by a score of 45-38.  The Wolves were determined to not let history repeat itself.  They came out in the championship game and blew out Team Knight by a score of 44-25.  They were led by the MVP of the tournament, Benjamin Wigodner.  He had some assistance from All Tournament selections Brian Boston and Jaylen Bates as well.  Team Knight was represented on the All Tournament team by Amare Whetsell and by the Mr. Hustle award winner Samari Reed.
