Tournament Results

Congratulations to the Treasure Coast Titans Red team on winning the Wellington March Madness Tournament.  They started their weekend off with a 45-40 win over SOH Elite and followed it up with a 42-36 victory over Miami City Ballers.  They carried that momentum into bracket play by picking up a win in the first round over Stampede, 53-32.  In the semis they had a matchup with the host team, the Wellington Wolves.  They made ease of the Wolves by defeating them 55-37.  This set up a title matchup against Ball4Lyfe.  They completed their perfect weekend by defeating Ball4Lyfe 54-39 to bring

The Charlotte County Miracle had very little trouble in both pool and bracket play, beating their opponents by 15+ each game.  Their most impressive win was against the Legacy Queens.  They held them to only 6 points while scoring 33.

Both teams had strong pool play and included a win over an 8^th grade team.  Between the two they played a very solid game as well.  The final score was 36-33 with the Charlotte County Miracle emerging victorious over Space Coast Fury.

The Wellington Wolves were crowned champions of the silver division of the Wellington March Madness tournament.  After nearly missing the Gold bracket, the Wolves cruised to a title.  They started things off with a 67-42 win over the Royals and followed it up in the championship with a 76-50 win over Beach City Basketball.

Congratulations to Beach City Basketball for coming out on top as champions of the Wellington March Madness tournament.  They went 1-1 in pool play, with a loss to Savage Elite 43-33 and a win over South Florida Heat 43-11.  They turned things up a notch when it came time for bracket play.  They opened things up with a 45-4 win over Team Knight.  In the semis they won a close battle with Bad Boys Basketball 53-50.  In the championship game they got their chance at redemption against Savage Elite.  This time things were different as Beach City won the title 44-28.  

Congratulations to the South Florida Ascenders on their Wellington March Madness championship.  The Ascenders earned their spot in the gold division bracket with pool play victories over Beach City Basketball 61-20 and Miami Impact 56-23.  They opened up bracket play with a 49-28 win over Jupiter Jaguars.  In the semis they earned themselves a 57-45 victory over Florida Flight.  In the championship they won by forfeit.

Ball4Lyfe went undefeated on the weekend en route to winning the Wellington March Madness Gold Bracket.  They opened up the weekend with a 2-0 record in pool play big wins over Treasure Coast Titans 50-31 and Team Knight 46-14.  They started off their tournament run with a 48-24 win over Savage Elite in the first round of bracket play.  They defeated US1 Elite in the semis 46-34 to earn themselves a shot at the title.  They faced their biggest test yet in the Florida Nets.  This game was a battle to the end with Ball4Lyfe coming out on top to win the title by a score of 44-41.

Congrats to the Treasure Coast Titans on winning the Wellington March Madness.  They started their weekend off with a bang by going 2-0 in pool play with a 70-34 win over Beach City Basketball and a 56-30 win over Miami City Ballers.  They started bracket play with a convincing 67-44 win over Savons Academy.  In the semis they went to battle with PBG Starzz and came out with a 57-51 victory to advance to the championship.  They had a rematch against the Miami City and history repeated itself as the Treasure Coast Titans won 55-48.

Nike Team Florida were crowned champions of the Wellington March Madness tournament.  They started their perfect weekend off with wins over Wellington Wolves Blue 61-23 and SPSA 74-40.  Their first bracket play game was against SPSA, where they once again won big by a score of 67-36.  This set them up for a trip to the championship on the line against Ball4Lyfe.  They defeated Ball4Lyfe 56-37 to survive and move on.  In the championship they had a matchup against host team Wellington Wolves Gold.  This game was closer than all their games before but they still came out with a win, 57-50.

The Space Coast Fury had very strong pool play, losing only 1 game.  They lost to Charlotte County Miracle 2023.  They bounced back in their Championship game however, winning 43-30 over the Riviera Beach Lady Chargers.
