Tournament Results

After having a rough time in pool play the Lehigh Blue Devils showcased what they were capable of as they won the Silver division of the 7th grade in the Sarasota Xplosion Shootout. They defeated BTB 2023 in the championship by a score of 35-20.

The MICS Lady Wolfpack were the champs of the 8th Grade division at the Sarasota Xplosion Shootout. They were undefeated in pool play with wins over High Hoops 43-17, Skills Center Elite 55-17, and MICS Lady Wolfpack 7th 44-7. This dominance earned them a spot in the championship game against High Hoops. The domination over the field continued as they went on to win the championship 46-12.

Congratulations to Bay Area Elite Athletics on their championship in the 7th grade division at the Sarasota Xplosion Shootout. They opened up the weekend with an undefeated record in pool play with wins over 5 Star Athletics 64-41 and Lehigh Blue Devils 60-28. They began bracket play with a game against Florida Elite SW. They took this game 46-30 to move into the championship game. They were then up against the Florida Phenoms for a chance at the title. Bay Area came out on top in this one 47-38.

IMG White were the champions of the Silver division in 10th grade at the Sarasota Xplosion Shootout. They posted a 1-2 mark in pool play. In bracket play they opened up against College Bound and won 65-38. In the championship game they defeated 941 Elite for the title 60-35.

5 Star Athletics were crowned champions in the 5th grade division at the Sarasota Xplosion Shootout. They toppled their competition in pool play while going undefeated with wins over Skills Center Elite Orange 43-19, Lehigh Blue Devils 50-11, and Florida Elite SW 58-13. This undefeated mark put them straight into the semis of bracket play. They opened up with a huge 60-30 win over Hoops on a Mission. This moved them into the finals for a rematch against Skills Center Elite Orange. The score was closer this time around but the result was still the same as 5 Star Athletics took home the

Team X Factor were the champs of the 10th grade division at the Sarasota Xplosion Shootout. They went 2-1 in pool play with wins over IMG White 73-54 and 941 Elite 66-46 and a loss to 2020 Elite 62-52. This mark earned them a spot in bracket play against Impact Elite Black. They defeated Impact Elite Black 86-77 to move onto the finals with a rematch against 2020 Elite for the championship. Team X Factor avenged their only loss on the weekend by defeating 2020 Elite for the title 70-67.

After having a tough go in pool play, Old School was given the chance to stand out in the Silver division bracket in the 8th grade. They began play with a 55-47 win over Wave Basketball. This moved them into the championship against Lehigh Blue Devils. This game was close all the way until the end with Old School prevailing to bring home the championship, 43-39.

Impact Academy were champions in the high school girls division at the Sarasota Xplosion Shootout. They started their title run with an undefeated pool play with wins over IMG White 54-29, MICS Lady Wolfpack 45-23 and N3XT 50-12. This earned them a spot in the championship with a familiar foe, IMG White. The championship game ended the same as it had before with Impact Academy topping IMG White 39-25.

Congratulations to the Treasure Coast Titans Red team on winning the Wellington March Madness Tournament. They started their weekend off with a 45-40 win over SOH Elite and followed it up with a 42-36 victory over Miami City Ballers. They carried that momentum into bracket play by picking up a win in the first round over Stampede, 53-32. In the semis they had a matchup with the host team, the Wellington Wolves. They made ease of the Wolves by defeating them 55-37. This set up a title matchup against Ball4Lyfe. They completed their perfect weekend by defeating Ball4Lyfe 54-39 to bring

The Charlotte County Miracle had very little trouble in both pool and bracket play, beating their opponents by 15+ each game. Their most impressive win was against the Legacy Queens. They held them to only 6 points while scoring 33.
